New Delhi: Chinese tech firm LeEco today entered the TV panel segment in India by launching its Super3 range of UHD televisions and it aims to grab the number one slot in online space by end of the year. Super3 series Ecosystem TV, which runs on Android 5, will be initially sold through e-commerce platforms and company's own patform LeMall.
"Our goal is to be the number brand in online space by the end of this year and eventually we want to be among top three to four brands in the country," said LeEco Technology India COO Atul Jain.
The company would start pre-sales on both platforms from August 10 to 12. LeEco also plans to hit brick & mortar format in 3-4 months and would have a pan India presence in six months.
LeEco, which had entered the Indian smartphone market earlier this year, has sold seven lakh units and is aiming to
touch 10 lakh by the end of August.
LeEco Super3 TV series in India, includes two 65-inch models and a 55-inch model. IN China the company sells its latest Super4 series. The TV series launched by the company in India is an year old technology.
The Le Super3 Max65 is priced at Rs 1,49, 790, the Super3 X65 will cost Rs 99,790, and Super3 X55 is the cheapest at Rs 59,790.
LeEco Super3 TVs boasts of 4K UHD resolution with LG's IPS display and 178 degree viewing angle. The 55-inch model comes with 2GB RAM and 8GB internal memory and the 65-inch model has 3GB RAM and 16GB memory. The TVs are powered by a 1.4GHz quad core processor with Mali GPU. The TVs also offer 2.1 stereo speakers with Dolby Audio and DTS support.
LeEco, is offering a two-year product warranty and four years panel warranty on its Super series, and is also offering free content for two years from its library.
