LG has unveiled a new smartphone that looks to be a smaller version of its former flagship LG V20. It is called the LG Q8 and it holds almost exact firepower as the LG V20. The only differences between the two being their display sizes, camera sensors and battery. Just like the LG V20, the LG Q8 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC along with 4GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It runs Android Nougat and sports a 13-megapixel primary and an 8-megapixel secondary camera.
LG Q8 comes with a 5.2-inch QuadHD display as opposed to LG V20’s 5.7-inch display. It carries a smaller 3,000 mAh battery and a different dual camera setup than the one on V20. It is still unclear if and when the LG smartphone will be launched in India.
Such a similarity can also be found in the recently launched three LG Q series smartphones – the LG Q6+, Q6 and Q6α and LG's flagship -the LG G6.
