Smartphone manufacturer OPPO has announced that it will be launching the OPPO Reno4 Pro in India on July 31. In keeping with the times, this will be an online event and the Reno4 Pro will be officially launched in India. It is the successor to the Reno3 Pro. The Reno4 Pro has already been launched in China back in June this year. The smartphone packs a triple-camera set up at the back, a 4,000mAh battery with 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast-charge technology, and comes with 5G network support as well. The phone will reportedly come in with the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant at this time.
The OPPO Reno4 Pro features a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with a Full-HD+ resolution and the 90Hz refresh rate. It is expected that OPPO will be offering a curved screen on the Reno4 Pro with specific focus on slimming down the bezels. Under the hood, the OPPO Reno 4 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The device comes with Android 10-based ColorOS 7.2 which should see significant updates in terms of how the software and apps are managed, which would mean faster performance overall. There may not be significant visual changes though, which means the familiarity of ColorOS will remain intact. The Oppo Reno4 Pro will also include the 65-watt SuperVOOC fast charging capabilities, which are expected to be faster than what the competition offers at this time.
