New Delhi: Samsung has introduced the recently-launched Galaxy A7 smartphone in India at a price of Rs 30,499. The phone that was unveiled early last month is now available in India via the company's India e-store.
For now, the phone is only available in white colour in India. The black- and gold-coloured models are currently listed as "not in stock" on the e-store.
The Galaxy A7, which is said to be one of the slimmest Galaxy smartphones, has a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display, runs Android 4.4 KitKat, and features a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera.
The phone is equipped with a multi-core processor combining two separate quad-core processors paired with 2GB of RAM. The Galaxy A7 has 16GB of internal memory (expandable up to 64GB)and is packed with a 2,600mAh battery.
It sports a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and includes selfie features including 'Ultra Wide Shot' and 'Auto Selfie' modes. The phone also offers a Private Mode, which is said to add an extra layer of security for important files and documents. It also has multi-screen app function capability.
