Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has another speculation added to its list of specifications. Ming-Chi Kuo, a known analyst, has claimed that the smartphone will come with a 3x optical zoom powered by its dual camera setup. The dual camera setup will be somewhat on the lines of that incorporated in the Apple iPhone 7 Plus, with a wide-angle sensor and a telephoto lens. Ming Chi Kuo has predicted that the wide-angle lens will carry a 13-megapixel resolution while the telephoto lens will be based on a 12-megapixel sensor and both the lenses will support Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). He also claims that the camera will be manufactured by Samsung itself.
As we can decipher from all the speculations till date, the Galaxy Note 8 will sport a similar infinity display as in the Galaxy S8 and S8+ smartphone and will maintain an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. With a 6.3-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display, the Galaxy Note 8 will be powered by an Exynos 8895 chipset, a piece of information that Samsung leaked on its official twitter handle. Another variant will house the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC. Two variants of the Galaxy Note 8 with a 6GB and an 8GB RAM have been mentioned by earlier reports. Coupled with this will be a 64GB and a 128GB internal storage option respectively (expandable). The Samsung phablet will reportedly come with a 3300 mAh battery, an S Pen and will support DeX. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 may be available in Black, Blue, Gold and Grey colour options.
The device is rumoured to be Samsung’s costliest launch in the smartphone category till date. It is set for a late August launch.
