New Delhi: WhatsApp periodically brings new features and improvises on the existing ones in its mobile apps. But, the web version had not been injected with as many features as the mobile versions, until now.
The Facebook-owned messaging service has finally brought some of the features present in its mobile apps to the web version.
The updated WhatsApp Web now lets you edit your profile photo and status. All you need to do is hover over the photo and you’ll see the option to change it, Android Police reports.
Other than the option to change your photo, you can also change your status. New additions further include the option to delete and archive one-on-one chats, and archive, mute, or exit group chats.
These functions can be executed either by a right click or hitting the new red buttons which are placed in the contact and group information panel.
