Bigg Boss 17’s Mannara Chopra Shows Her Injury Marks From The 'Mirchi Task'

Mannara Chopra, the former contestant on Bigg Boss 17, recently shared pictures of her injury marks left from the show’s notorious ‘mirchi task’. The actor shared pictures of her bruised legs and hands on Instagram Stories and reassured her fans that the scars would fade away. While sharing the photos with her 3.2 million followers Mannara wrote, “Mirchi task marks are slowly fading.” In another story, she also shared pictures of the scars on her hands and wrote, “Lot of people were asking about mirchi task marks after the temple viral video, so just for you all, I’m sharing the photos. Everything is fine; marks will go with time. Just keep me and my family in your prayers always.”

In her latest Instagram post, many of her fans expressed concerns about her scars as shown in Mannara’s story. A fan commented, “Saw your story and all the scars from the torture task. You deserve all the appreciation for that task. Definitely one to go down in history. Whenever this task comes around in future seasons Mannara name will surely be included in terms of appreciation.” Another person wrote, “Just woke up and saw the stories of Mannara. It just breaks my heart I can’t even imagine what she went through The marks on her body are looking so Terrible. Stay Strong and Get Well soonest my girl.”

Mannara participated in Bigg Boss 17 which ran from October 15, 2023, to January 28, 2024. Her journey in the Bigg Boss house ended just before the grand finale as she secured the second runner-up spot. Munawar Faruqui was announced the winner, while Abhishek Kumar ended up as the runner-up.

While talking to Indian Express, Mannara recalled her Big Boss journey and said, “It is definitely all worth it. People chose me because they knew I was strong.”

Mannara is the maternal cousin of actresses Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra. She made her film debut with the Telugu film Prema Geema Jantha Nai in 2014. She made her Bollywood debut with the thriller Zid in the same year. She has appeared in several Telugu films, music videos, and TV shows.

Recently, the 32-year-old actor spoke to Bollywood Bubble about not using the name of her famous cousins and said, “I don’t involve my family because everybody has their own space in life. They (Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra) are also married, they have their own family. So, don’t involve them. I feel it will look kind of like a show-off. All the celebs that came on the show (Big Boss) and even the host Salman Khan knew me because of my personality. So using someone else’s name would not look nice.”
