Abhishek came to Mumbai in 2018 to pursue his acting career, and for six months he lied to his family about his training in Delhi. In order to save money, Abhishek would skip breakfast and consume channa masala and roti for Rs 50. He would also walk to his audition venues to save money.

Abhishek began his acting career as a crowd artist in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, starring Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan. He featured in the song Daingad Daingad. He was dancing behind Siddharth Shukla. On the tenth anniversary of the film this year, Abhishek released a BTS picture from the sets of Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.

Abhishek then began his journey as a social media influencer and eventually was roped in for Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta’s daily soap, Udaariyaan. In the show, Abhishek played the role of Amrik Singh Virk. Ankit Gupta, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, and Isha Malviya were also part of the show. After Udaariyaan, Abhishek played the role of Adhiraj in Ektaa Kapoor’s Bekaboo.
