Actors Paras Chhabra and Akanksha Puri frequently made headlines owing to their relationship with each other. It has been several years since the duo broke ties with each other. Recently, Akanksha Puri participated in the reality show Bigg Boss OTT 2 and claimed that she had not received closure from Paras. Finally, the actor has responded to the claims and stated his position. Paras Chhabra had also participated in the reality show Bigg Boss 13 and reportedly, the tiff in the relationship had started then.
In conversation with Etimes, “Why does Akanksha Puri need closure from me? Yes, I did get a lot of clips about that episode of Akanksha from my fans and friends. Our relationship was over three-four years back and it is done and dusted. Waise toh I do not intend to talk about my exes, especially Akanksha Puri, since everything is over from my side, but since once again the topic was raised and a lot of people were inquistive to know my side of the story, I chose to reply.”
In the same chat, Paras expressed his amazement at the fact that Akanksha was still talking about him despite winning Swayamvar: Mika Di Vohti. The actor also discussed the red shoes that he wore while he was inside the Bigg Boss house. He stated that Akanksha claimed to have given him those which were worth Rs 80,000. But in reality, it was part of a cooperation and he had to later pay Rs 2,100 for them. Paras stated that contrary to her claims, “she has never ever spent a penny on me from her pocket when we were in a relationship.”
Paras Chhabra stated, “According to me, she has been quite manipulative. Even on Bigg Boss OTT, she initially said she didn’t want to get close to Jad Hadid and later she kissed him only. She has been using my name and our past on I am enjoying my single status a lot.”
Earlier in one of the episodes of Bigg Boss OTT 2, Akanksha opened up to JadHadid about why she wants to not start a relationship on the reality show. She said “We never broke up. When he came to the show, he started liking someone from day one. We never had a closure but there were some things he said to demean me, and disrespect me. A lot of things he said on national television, which was really not good,” She had alleged that Paras had started a relationship with someone else while he was on the show, hinting at Mahira Sharma.
