Bihar Teacher Makes Instagram Reels While Checking PPU Exam Answer Sheets, Videos Go Viral

Making Instagram Reels is becoming an obsession nowadays. From influencers to school teachers, many are obsessed with Instagram Reels. Recently, videos of a Bihar teacher surfaced on X (formerly known as Twitter) featuring her creating Instagram Reels while assessing answer sheets for Patliputra University (PPU). The clips sparked outrage on social media as netizens questioned the seriousness of checking exam sheets and the harmful effects of reel-making. The videos have prompted authorities to take action against her and reportedly, a First Information Report (FIR) has been filed.

In one of the viral videos, the teacher can be seen supposedly grading answer sheets for the PPU exams while she hardly looks at the answer sheet. She can be seen sitting in a classroom with other evaluators. This video was posted on an X account named @BiharTeacherCan. Sharing the video, the user wrote, “Reels of checking copies of PPU exam went viral on Instagram, FIR lodged against ma’am.”

Another X user @ChapraZila posted a video of the same teacher, who can now be seen in a different attire and room, shooting a similar Instagram Reel. The teacher can be seen with fellow other evaluators and more engrossed in the reel shoot than in the exam sheet from the earlier video.

These videos quickly went viral on social media and collected numerous responses from people over the quality of evaluation by the teachers. The videos sparked an online uproar questioning about the seriousness with which some educators approach exam evaluations. “Just in 30 seconds the teacher judged and evaluated a student’s hard work of 3 hours,” commented a user. “Did that Ma’am Reading what is Written on that copy,” questioned a second. “Many of the marks being awarded without reading the supplementary are said to be reasonable,” added a third. “Reality of the education system,” mentioned a fourth.
