Egg Halwa — This Latest Bizarre Food Experiment Has Left Foodies In Shock

Experimenting with food has become a trend these days. Gone are the days when people shared food recipes to pass on what they cherished and spread smiles on people’s faces. And, every now and then, bizarre food experiments take centrestage and often leave foodies furious. In a similar instance, a new experiment has shaken up the food scene and it involves our beloved protein source – eggs.

Recently, a video showcasing a culinary twist to eggs has gone viral on the internet which is sure to leave many food enthusiasts perplexed.

The viral footage kicks off with a woman cracking some eggs in a bowl, followed by the addition of flour and sugar. Using an electric hand-beating machine, she thoroughly mixes the ingredients. Next, the woman heats some ghee in a vessel and pours the prepared mixture into it. She cooks it until it thickens slightly. After cooking for a while, she then adds cream to it and garnishes the dish with dry fruits. And this is how an innovative egg halwa dish is ready.

The video quickly went viral, accumulating over 1.6 million views and sparking varied reactions from online users. “Sach bolu dekh k hi ulti aarhi h khane k bad pata nhi (Honestly, just looking at it makes me feel nauseous, I can’t imagine how it would taste after eating it),” an individual expressed.

Another cautioned, “Krupiya kr ke inlogo ko Ghar main khula na chode (Please, make sure these individuals aren’t left unsupervised in the kitchen).”

“Kl mutton ka halwa dekha tha Snapchat pe, aaj ande ka halwa dekh rha hu insta pe, ab bs bheje ka dahi vada dekhna baki reh gya hai (Yesterday, I saw mutton halwa on Snapchat, today it’s egg halwa on Instagram. Now, all that’s left is to see brain fritters in yogurt on my feed),” a comment read.

While many were left disgusted, some users praised the dish. One commenter stated, “Gurl it actually tastes good.” Another shared a positive experience, saying, “My mom makes it during winters and trust me it is not what y’all are thinking like infact it tastes super delicious.”

Experimentation with eggs shows no signs of stopping. Earlier, a video of a coconut egg concoction left the internet in a state of disgust. The video shows a man removing coconut from the furnace and slicing off its outer layer with a knife. He then proceeds to fill the coconut with egg white and yolk. He then gives it a good mix before packing it in a polythene.
