'Goodbye People': Delhi Man Invites 'Death' in Most Desi Way Possible, Shares Pic on Reddit
Tell me you are an Indian, without telling me you are an Indian: 'I leave the milk on the stove until it's too late,' echoed a Reddit user in a post that has now gone viral.

Make every mistake imaginable with your mother, and she’ll forgive you for all except one: that one ‘sin’ that, no matter how old you are, makes you wish for the ground to swallow you whole rather than face its consequences. Yes, it’s as daunting as it sounds: forgetting you left the milk on the stove until it’s too late and you’re faced with a milky mess everywhere. We’ve all been there, haven’t we? It’s the one task Mom assigns you, only for you to botch it up royally.

So, when a guy from Delhi found himself in this all-too-familiar scenario, he humorously embraced his ‘death’ (or so he joked). Taking to Reddit, under the username @Kasoori_Methi, he shared a snapshot displaying the milk spilled all over the kitchen counter and even onto the floor, courtesy of his forgetfulness.

With a witty caption, he wrote, “I was wondering where’s this crackling sound coming from only to realise that death is inevitable,” before cheekily throwing in a Hindi saying, “Darne se kya hoga, ek na ek din sabko marna ha (What’s the use of fearing? Everyone has to face death one day.”

He even mentioned his dad being at home, yet both of them overlooked the milk mishap, concluding with, “Khair, khatra abhi tala nhi hai, mammi ko pata chalega to seedhe maut (Well, danger isn’t imminent yet, but if Mom finds out, it might as well be the end of me).” Of course!

The post quickly went viral, drawing laughter from the public. “I thought the kitchen floor was white then I realised that OP has spilled the milk all over. OP, tumhe yaadon me rakkha jayega,” joked one commenter. Another chimed in, “I suggest leaving the milky way just to be on the safer side.”

“Just clean it up. Mom won’t care as long as its clean,” suggested the third, while the fourth offered a creative solution, “Say that door was open a stray cat entered and spilled it and ran away. Make some paw like impressions in the milk spilled.”
