Australian cricketer David Warner frequently shares Instagram reels of himself dancing to Bollywood songs, both on and off field. Now, following his footsteps, Pat Cummins, captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in IPL 2024, is winning hearts with his Bollywood dance video. In the viral clip, Cummins can be seen grooving to the popular song Laal Peeli Akhiyaan from the film Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, featuring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. While the reason behind Cummins dance practice remains a mystery, his dedication and energetic performance have taken the internet by storm. Cummins was captured dancing to the popular track in a dance studio, accompanied by a few other dancers following the steps of the Australian cricket star. Cummins has been enjoying his time in India, since he played the World Cup last year. Interestingly, the day the video went viral also happens to be SRH captain’s 31st birthday.
To add to the celebrations, Cummins received a special gift from his IPL team as they won against KL Rahul-led LSG by 10 wickets. His team chased the target of 165 runs within 10 overs. Sharing the dance video, an X page wrote, “Pat Cummins dancing on a Bollywood song wasn’t on my Bingo Card.”
