For thrill-seekers, the mountains are undoubtedly the best place to enjoy a vacation. Mountain lovers are mostly driven to conquer new challenges and are ready to soak up any experience coming their way. Sometimes, overcoming a stiff terrain or a rocky incline may seem quite dangerous. But once the trip is done, those incidents will turn into pleasant memories. To add a new chapter to his vacation diary, a US vlogger recently took up the challenge of crossing one of the deadliest roadways in Pakistan. During his visit to the country, Colin travelled through the Gilgit-Baltistan Highway, which begins near Juglot and is linked with Skardu.
The vlogger later shared some glimpses of the journey on Instagram. Colin wrote in the caption, “In Gilgit-Baltistan in the North of Pakistan, you can find this dangerous road and take a jeep ride for yourself… if you want. It brings you to the most beautiful place in all of Pakistan called fairy meadows so it’s definitely a risk worth taking. If you love adrenaline like me it’s the perfect destination for you.”

The clip opens with the vlogger showing one end of the roadway, which is located on the Karakoram Range in northern Pakistan. Colin then went on to look for a vehicle that would take him on the road trip. He found a jeep and the driver offered him a ride. Colin quickly hopped inside the car and started his journey along with some local people.
“This is the world’s deadliest road and I will be driving up to it today,” the American was heard saying in the video. He captured a short stretch of the highway, which was bordered by an unguarded cliff. “That little thin road is keeping us alive. It looks pretty safe,” Colin said to himself to boost his motivation. He was then seen screaming in joy while pulling out his face from the window of the car.
In some places, the corridor was so narrow that only one vehicle could pass at a time. After he reached his destination, Colin thanked the driver for “keeping him safe and not letting him die.” The duo hugged each other before the vlogger took a leave.
The internet was left stunned after seeing the scary roadway. Highlighting Colin’s fearless attitude, a viewer sarcastically said, “Bro is edging death.” “I stopped breathing,” confessed a another.
“It’s all fun until another car or jeep comes from the font,” warned the viewer.
