Grigor Manukyan also has a world record title for the 'Most chin-ups from a helicopter in one minute', achieving an impressive total of 36.

In a jaw-dropping demonstration of strength and perseverance, an 18-year-old teenager from Armenia, Grigor Manukyan, defied gravity and bagged the world record for the most consecutive pull-ups on a bar positioned between two rolling trucks. According to Guinness World Records, the trucks were required to maintain a minimum pace of 5 km/h (3.1 mph) while Grigor performed as many pull-ups as possible without falling.

He performed a total of 44 pull-ups, smashing the previous record of 35, which was set by “The Italian Butterfly” Tazio Gavioli last year. The video of the interesting record by the Armenian teen was shared by Guinness World Records (GWR) on its official X (formerly known as Twitter) handle. The clip was shared a day ago, and since then, it has clocked more than 36,000 views. It goes without saying that the number of viewers watching this amazing record is still increasing.

“New record: Most consecutive pull-ups on a bar positioned between two moving trucks—44 by Grigor Manukyan (Armenia),” Guinness World Records captioned along with the video.

The video unfolds to show Manukyan getting out of a truck with unwavering focus and agility and proceeding to take his position to hang from the bar. He then continues to do an impressive 44 consecutive pull-ups, solidifying his place in the record books. In a surprising twist, the Guinness World Records also added a few more pull-up-related records of Grigor that he previously created.

Check out this video of Grigor pulling off the world record:

While speaking to Guinness World Records, Grigor said, “This record was not difficult for me due to my rigorous training. I think I could have brought the number up to fifty (50), but I decided to stop at 44 and dedicate my record to the bright memory of the heroes who were martyred in the ill-fated 44-day Artsakh war, in which thousands of Armenians died.”

It is worth noting that Grigor is no stranger to performing incredible feats and leaving spectators in awe with his physical prowess. Last year in November, he set a record for the ‘Most chin-ups from a helicopter in one minute,’ achieving an impressive total of 36. In addition to that, Grigor holds the record for the “Most four finger pull-ups with a 20 lb pack in one minute,” and he did 31 pull-ups.

Grigor is currently preparing to set a record for the ‘Most pull-ups from a plane in one minute.’
