BMW M340i XDrive Bookings Open in India at Rs 1 Lakh, First 40 Buyers to Get Curated Driver Training

BMW India has opened bookings for the most powerful 3-Series variant in India – the BMW M340i xDrive starting today on 5 March 2021 onwards. The sedan will be available in limited units and can be booked online at BMW Online Shop for Rs 1,00,000. BMW is also offering the first 40 customers a specially curated Driver Training at a race track in India to help buyers master the racing line skills with the help of BMW Certified trainers.

The BMW M340i XDrive is the only 3-Series variant being engineered by BMW M, which means it gets the M-specific chassis tuning, BMW xDrive all-wheel drive and the M Sport rear differential provide for an enhanced driving experience.

While the BMW M340i retains most of its design elements from the regular 3-Series variants, it gets various sporty elements including Cerium Grey touch on the ORVMS, grille and other places. To enhance the sporty appearance, customers can personalise their car with specially curated BMW M Performance Accessories packages – Enthusiast Pack, Racer’s Pack and Motorsport Pack.

In terms of powertrain options, the BMW 340i Xdrive is powered by a straight 6-cylinder 3.0-litre petrol engine producing 387 HP and 500 Nm of torque and is mated to an 8-speed auto gearbox. It’s a 4WD car with rear wheel biased drive system and can do 0-100 kmph in 4.4 seconds with an electronically limited top speed of 250 kmph.
