The top car maker Kia has been receiving an overwhelming response from Indian customers, all thanks to tech-loading models. Recently, the company has recorded impressive sales figures, where it has managed to record On-Year growth of 17.19 percent.
While confirming the news over an official release, the company revealed that it has retailed more than 22,520 last month in the country. This number has grown by more than 3300 units compared to the same month last year.
Top Performers
The company says the updated Sonet has been named as one of the top-selling products in the entire lineup. It has contributed massively to the overall sales, retailing over 10,073 units, followed by the updated Seltos with 6,536 units, while MPV Carens remain as top dominating model with sales of 5,881 units.
EV Segment
When it comes to the electric segment, EV6 has been standing tall in the dominating market. It has recorded a decent sales of 33 units. As far as the global numbers are concerned, made-in-India products continue to derive strong demand, with export numbers of 2,604 units in August 2024.

Speaking about the achievement, the company’s senior VP and National Head of Sales & Marketing, Hardeep Singh Brar said, “Our continuously strong sales performance reflects the trust and confidence our customers place in the Kia brand. In addition, he said, “Kia India is committed to offering vehicles that resonate well with our customers’ evolving needs, preferences and aspirations and to ensure that we are also, continuously expanding our footholds in the country”.
