Balasaheb says Raj is a parasite
Raj may call Balasaheb his God, but the Sena supremo says Raj is a "parasite that lived off the tree of Shiv Sena".

New Delhi: Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray may hail Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray as his "God" and profess that he quit the party due to differences with Sena executive president Uddhav Thackeray, but Thackeray senior doesn't seem impressed.

While terming Raj a "parasite" and a "hypocrite", Balasaheb—as he is popularly known—on Friday launched an acerbic attack on Raj saying his love and concern for the ageing leader was a sham.

In an editorial in Sena's mouthpiece Samna, Thackeray snubbed Raj — without naming him — for expressing concern about his failing health. "My advice to this young hypocrite is that he need not affect concern about my

health," he added.

Bal Thackeray said Raj's affection was fake and added that others like Chhagan Bhujbal and Narayan Rane, who had deserted the Sena, had first called Thackeray their God, but later turned against him.

Terming Raj a "parasite that lived off the tree of Shiv Sena", Thackeray said people must beware of such people.

Thackeray said with old age some problems are inevitable, but common Shiv Sainiks was his "tonic", and so long as his cadre is with him, he would be fighting fit.
