The parking lots will accommodate approximately 1,200 four-wheelers and two-wheelers, ensuring ample space for commuters.

The Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) corridor is set to receive a major upgrade for passenger convenience.

The station will boast two spacious parking lots at both entrances, making it convenient for commuters on both sides of the road. With construction nearing completion, the facility is gearing up to cater to the needs of passengers.

Exciting developments are underway for travellers heading towards Sahibabad RRTS station in Ghaziabad. As per TOI, the upcoming Namo Bharat trains will soon offer services up to Sahibabad, with ample parking arrangements for approximately 1,200 four-wheelers and two-wheelers across both lots.

Puneet Vats, CPRO of the National Capital Regional Transport Corporation overseeing the high-speed rail network’s construction, highlights additional perks awaiting passengers.

Vats shares, “Special EV charging stations will also grace these parking lots. Passengers travelling via Namo Bharat trains can conveniently charge their e-vehicles at the station, with provisions for both two-wheeler and four-wheeler electric vehicles.”

Once the trials are successfully completed, the South Meerut RRTS station will be operational pending official approval.
