Best known for tech-loaded budget smartphones, the Chinese tech giant Xiaomi successfully marked 10 years of operation in India. On a special occasion, the company is likely to showcase its first electric car SU7 for Indian customers.
It is the same model that has been receiving an overwhelming response in its homeland. Reports say Xiaomi might introduce the SU7 with the same style statement as offered in the Chinese market. It will similar front fascia and identical road appearance. However, slight nip-and-tuck cosmetic updates are expected.
Trims and Colour Options
Customers can expect SU7 in three variants with 9 different colour schemes. All of them will look similar to each other. However, the base variant might be offered with a smaller battery pack, while the top model will use a bigger unit and offer some top-notch trending features.
The customers will be allowed to choose alloy wheels, ranging between 19 to 20 inches. The personalisation touch will add more feathers to its aesthetic.
Overall Size
Talking about the overall dimension, the premium class EV will hit the market with 4997mm length, 1963mm width and 1440mm height. The Indian version is expected to come with a decent wheelbase of 3000mm. When it comes to the boot, SU7 is likely to offer of 517 litres impressive space with an additional 105 litres of compartment at the front.
Battery, Range and Power
Under the hood, the base trim might use 73.6kWh battery pack, which will offer a robust 700km range on a single charge. This trim will be equipped with a powerful electric motor, which will generate a maximum output of 295bhp, and will be capable of doing 0 to 100km/h sprint in just 5.28 seconds. The top speed will stand at 210km/h.
