Yogi Babu-starrer Kuiko To Be Released By Red Giant Movies: Report

Actor Yogi Babu is all set to star in the upcoming Tamil film, Kuiko. It was written and directed by T Arul Chezhian. The movie is produced by AST Films. He is best known for co-writing Manikandan’s 2016 film Aandavan Kattalai. Now, according to the latest updates, popular production and distribution company Red Giant Movies has taken responsibility for Kuiko’s release across Tamil Nadu. Fans are happy that it will reach a wider audience, despite being a small-budget film, as Red Giant Movies will be backing Kuiko. The film will reportedly be released on November 24, 2023.

Earlier this month, the film’s title poster was released by the makers. Actor Vijay Sethupathi released the poster on social media with the caption: “Happy to share the title & 1st look poster of #KUIKO starring @vidaarth_actor & @iYogiBabu directed by @darulchezhian. I wish the entire team the best for a grand success. RELEASING VERY SOON in cinemas near you.”

The film’s poster reveals some men walking amid a desert area, dressed in Middle Eastern outfits. Kuiko’s storyline still remains unknown. The film’s cast also consists of actors Vidharth, Ilavarasan and Vinodhini Vaidyanathan. Kuiko’s music has been composed by popular singer Anthony Daasan. The cinematography has been done by Rajesh Yadhav and editing by Ram Pandian.

Yogi Babu is an Indian actor and comedian who mainly works in Tamil films. He has acted in various comedy movies and has starred alongside superstars like Rajinikanth, Thalapathy Vijay and Sivakarthikeyan. He won the Ananda Vikatan Cinema Award thrice. Yogi Babu also worked as an assistant director in movies like Lollu Sabha; he also worked as a screenwriter for about two years.

Yogi Babu featured in his first major comic role in the movie Pattathu Yaanai. He was also seen in the Bollywood film Chennai Express alongside Shah Rukh Khan.
