The Yellow Army were at their loudest as MS Dhoni was in the middle to bat against KKR. The crowds were so loud that Andre Russell was forced to cover his ears.

The fans were so loud that the KKR all-rounder, Andre Russell was covering his ears when fielding in the second innings when MS Dhoni walked out to bat.

The support MS Dhoni gets at Chepauk is unmatched and the fans were at it again when Thala himself walked out to bat when CSK needed just three runs to win the game with three overs left in the innings.

The spectators wanted to see MSD finish off the game in style, but he was unable to do so as he took two singles and the new skipper, Ruturaj Gaikwad finished off the game with a fine boundary to the off-side to get the winning runs.

Gaikwad had won the toss and opted to bowl first. Tushar Deshpande struck in the very first delivery to get rid of the dangerous Phil Salt, but the pair of Sunil Narine and Angkrish Raghuvanshi gave the side a solid powerplay by scoring 56 runs.
