As the Lucknow Super Giants gear up for their next test where they take on the defending champions Chennai Super Kings at the Ekana Sports City, Lucknow, their pace-sensation Mayank Yadav has given some positive signs of a potential return ahead of the match.
The 21-year-old has taken the IPL by storm showcasing his blistering pace which even took some of the top international batters by surprise. His bowling has had a massive impact with the quick bowler picking up six wickets in just three games indicating a significant impact with the ball.
According to a report by PTI, Mayank has resumed training on Wednesday but it remains unclear whether the express-pacer would be given the clearance to play in the upcoming match against CSK.

His presence in the XI would also give the team some added variety, especially in the bowling department as they lack a quality bowler who has the pace to go well over the 145 kmph mark.
Since making his mark in the tournament, the speedster has already notched some of the fastest deliveries of the tournament as he notched a delivery which went at 156.7 kmph making it the fastest delivery of this season’s IPL.

Both Lucknow Super Giants and Chennai Super Kings are some of the better-performing teams in the ongoing season but the defending champions will have a tough test as they aim to improve their record on playing in away conditions.
