Allrounder Ravindra Jadeja has shared a picture of himself batting in the nets while donning India’s practice kit ahead of the 3rd Test against England slated to get later this week.
Jadeja is expected to make his return in India’s playing XI for the remaining three Tests against England at Rajkot.

The veteran cricketer missed the second Test against the tourists in Vizag due to a hamstring injury but has made a speedy recovery.

Jadeja played in the series opener of the five-match series in Hyderabad.
Jadeja scored 82 runs across the two innings while scalping five wickets for the hosts. However, India ended up with a shock 28-run defeat after blowing up a massive lead in the second innings.
In the second Test, India bounced back despite missing key players like Ravindra Jadeja, KL Rahul and Virat Kohli. Youngsters including Yashashvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill stepped up with the bat while Jasprit Bumrah produced a magic show with the ball. India sealed a 106-run win to draw level at one-all.
Jadeja will be looking to make history in India’s upcoming Test at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot. He is currently on the verge of achieving a very rare and significant milestone.
Jadeja could join the likes of Kapil Dev and Ravichandran Aswin as the only Indian players with 3,000 runs and 250 wickets in Test history.
He’s currently just 107 runs shy of achieving this unique feat. He is also 20 short of completing 300 Test wickets as well.
While Jadeja will be making his return, Virat Kohli has withdrawn from the remaining Tests due to personal reasons. The batting superstar had been in top form for India in 2023.
India will also be without KL Rahul who has been ruled out from the 3rd Test.
