The former RCB man who now represents SRH following a trade deal, Shahbaz Ahmed, put up a story on his official Instagram handle where he showed off his newest possession.
This is not the first instance where the Indian star has given away one of his bats. Not too long ago, videos had gone viral where Kolkata Knight Riders’ Rinku Singh was seen asking for another bat from Kohli after he revealed that his previous one had been broken.

Shahbaz for SRH has been quite the find as the all-rounder has been in fine form particularly with the bat scoring 169 runs despite coming late in the batting order. He also scored a fifty albeit in a losing cause in SRH’s previous game against RCB.
Kohli continues to be one of the most followed players in cricket internationally, so it is only natural that some of the lesser-known Indian players also idolise the batting star.
RCB’s opening batter has had a fantastic tournament in the IPL 2024 season as he leads the run-scoring charts. Currently, he has scored a total of 430 runs in the nine games he has played with an average of 61.42 and a strike rate of 145.76.

Languishing at the bottom of the points table, RCB have not had the tournament they would have hoped for as they currently have just two wins in the nine games played.
However, they seem to be getting back in the groove following a sensational win of the run-scoring behemoths, SRH at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad in their previous game.

Faf du Plessis’ side will look to carry forward that momentum against GT and hope to get on a winning streak as they look to win all their remaining games and hope for some favourable outcomes if they are to have a chance in qualifying for the playoffs and possibly secure their maiden IPL title.
