The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) will close the provisional answer key challenge window today, February 29, for the group 2 prelims exam 2023. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check and download the answer key through the official website at psc.ap.gov.in.

Candidates can raise objection, if any, to the answer key by submitting the necessary fee and substantial documents online. “Objections would not be accepted through Post/WhatsApp /SMS/ Phone/Individual submissions or any other mode and objections received after due date shall not be considered,” reads the official notice by APPSC. Based on the objection raised, the commission will review and release the final answer key and the results.

The commission is conducting the exam to fill a total of 897 positions through this recruitment drive. Out of the total, 566 vacancies are for non-executive positions and 331 for executive positions.

APPSC Group 2 Prelims Exam Answer Key 2023: How To Raise Objection?

Step 1: Visit the official website of APPSC at psc.ap.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on the APPSC Group 2 Prelims Provisional Answer Key 2023 link available on the home page.

Step 3: A PDF containing the answer key will be displayed on the screen.

Step 4: Check and download the page for further use.

Step 5: To raise objection, select the question you want to challenge

Step 6: Upload substantial documents

Step 7: Pay the fees

Step 8: Submit. Download and save the acknowledgment page for further use.

“If you have not marked the test booklet series at Part C of side I of the Answer Sheet or marked in a way that leads to a discrepancy in determining the exact Test Booklet Series, then in all such cases your Answer Sheet will be invalidated without any further notice. No correspondence will be entertained in the matter,” the official notice stated.

The registration process began on December 21, 2023, and concluded on January 17, 2024. The exam was conducted on February 25 from 10.30 am to 1 pm. APPSC conducted the prelims written exam on general studies and mental ability. The commission added a new topic this year — social science. The exam was held for a total of 150 marks and each section has 30 marks. The screening test is an objective type examination held in the OMR-based format in offline mode. Those who clear prelims will be called for the main exam. Candidates will be shortlisted for the Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) based on merit in the main written examination.
