Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fame actress Jheel Mehta is all set to tie the knot with her longtime beau, Aditya Dube, soon. On Tuesday, the actress took to her Instagram handle to reveal that their pre-wedding celebrations have already begun. Jheel, who used to play the role of Sonu in TMKOC, dropped a picture from her bachelorette party.
Jheel was seen striking a pose for the camera in Goa. She sported a pretty floral dress with a “bride-to-be” sash. In the caption of her post, Jheel wrote, “Girls just wanna have fun #LoveAJkal #JheelKePyaarMeDube #bachelorette #bridetobe.” Reacting to the post, Jennifer Mistry, who plays the role of Mrs Roshan Sodhi in TMKOC wrote, “Congo jheelo…kaisi hai babu.” Check it out here:
Jheel Mehta was proposed for marriage by Aditya Dube in January this year. Back then, Jheel dropped a cute video on her Instagram handle in which her friends were seen getting her to the rooftop where her boyfriend proposed to her. The actress was visibly emotional as she said ‘yes’ to the love of her life. Jheel then hugged her boyfriend as he also kissed her forehead.
Later in May, Jheel also planned a proposal for Aditya. She went down on her knees on the seaside and asked her beau, “Hey! I know that you have been waiting for this for a while now. And will you marry me, Aditya?” To this, Aditya replied, “Yes”. He then kissed Jheel and they also shared a warm hug.
Jheel Mehta played the role of Sonalika Aatmaran Bhide aka Sonu in TMKOC. However, she left the show in 2012. Besides Jheel, several other actors have also left TMKOC including Disha Vakani, Bhavya Gandhi, Gurucharan Singh, Shailesh Lodha, Neha Mehta, Raj Anadkat and Jennifer Mistry. Most recently, Kush Shah, who used to play the role of Goli in the popular sitcom, also left the show.
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been running successfully for over 16 years now.
