The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) Clerk Prelims exams will be held on August 24, 25, and 31, 2024. IBPS in a written statement mentioned that The Pre-Examination Training or PET is designed to assist candidates from specific categories in better preparing for the IBPS Clerk Prelims exam by explaining the online test technique and in no way aids in the selection. “By merely attending the Pre-Examination Training no candidate acquires any right to be selected in any of the Participating Banks mentioned,” reads the official notice.

In the IBPS Clerk preliminary exam, candidates will be asked 100 questions of total 100 marks. Questions will be asked about English, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability in the exam. Which will include 30 questions from English, 35 from Medical Ability, and 35 from Reasoning Ability. Candidates will be given an hour to solve the paper.

Apart from this, to help the candidates, the syllabus and sample question paper of the exam have been uploaded on the official website, ibps.in. The IBPS issued the admit card for the Pre-Examination Training (PET) 2024 on August 12, 2024. Candidates who have applied for clerk positions under the CRP Clerk XIV recruitment process can access their admit cards from the official website.

The IBPS PET opportunity is open in several locations such as Agra, Ahmedabad, Agartala, Amritsar, Balasore, Behrampur (Ganjam), Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Bengaluru, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar (Aurangabad), Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Dhanbad, Dehradun, Gulbarga, Guwahati, Gorakhpur, Hyderabad, Hubli, Indore, Jaipur, Jammu, Jabalpur, Jodhpur, Kochi, Kolkata, Karnal, Kavaratti, Ludhiana, Lucknow, Mumbai, Muzaffarpur, Madurai, Mangalore, Mysore, New Delhi, Nagpur, Patiala, Patna, Panaji (Goa), Port Blair, Pune, Prayagraj (Allahabad), Rajkot, Ranchi, Raipur, Shillong, Siliguri, Sambalpur, Shimla, Thiruvananthapuram, Thiruchirapalli, Tirupati, Varanasi, Vadodara, Vijaywada and Vishakhapatnam.
