For admissions At Kendriya Vidyalayas:

Maximum 40 Children: The principal can admit a maximum of 40 children till June 30 or within 30 days of the publication of CBSE 10th results. All registered and eligible students will be given admission in all classes except class 11th where admission to vacant seats will be for all registered and eligible students.

Maximum 45 children: The principal can admit a maximum of 45 children until November 30. This allowance is for children of parents working in the Civil and Defense Sector (Categories I to IV) and Projects and Higher Institutions (Categories I to V), who will be transferred in the current academic session after completion of the registration process. Admission for these children is on a first come basis.

Up to 50 children: The principal is authorised to admit a maximum of 50 children until November 30. This is specifically for children of defence personnel (army, navy, air force) or paramilitary forces who are transferred or retired after the registration process during the current academic session. Admissions in this scenario are also based on a first-come, first-served policy.
