The MHT CET 2024 exam for engineering, pharmacy, and allied courses will cover the entire Class 12 syllabus of the 2023-24 academic year in physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics prescribed by the state board

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has recently announced the availability of the MHT CET 2024 mock test for both PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) and PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) groups on its official website, cetcell.mahacet.org.

MHT CET 2024 is scheduled to be conducted for PCM and PCB groups from May 2 to May 17. Candidates aiming for undergraduate engineering courses must take the PCM exam, while those aspiring for pharmacy and agriculture courses need to appear for the PCB group.

MHT CET Exam Pattern 2024

Both MHT CET PCM and PCB exams will be conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode in two shifts. The morning shift will be from 9 am to 12 noon, and the afternoon shift will be from 2 pm to 5 pm.

The MHT CET question paper will be based on the syllabus provided by the State Council of Educational Research and Training Maharashtra. Approximately 20 per cent of the weightage will be given to the Class 11 curriculum, while the remaining 80 per cent will be for the Class 12 curriculum. The questions will mostly be application-based, as informed by the CET Cell.

Last year, a total of 6,36,804 candidates registered for the MHT CET exam, out of which 5,91,135 appeared for the exam.
