NEET UG Counselling 2024: Round 1 Registration Ends Tomorrow, Check Final Seat Matrix
Aspiring medical students who have valid NEET UG 2024 scores and still have not registered may do it on the MCC's official website, mcc.nic.in by tomorrow

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the final seat matrix and Non-Resident Indian (NRI) list for the first phase of NEET UG 2024 counselling. The seats that are still vacant for MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing and other undergraduate medical programmes in India are listed in the PDF.

Aspiring medical students who have valid NEET UG 2024 scores and still have not registered may do it on the MCC’s official website, mcc.nic.in. Candidates have till tomorrow, August 20 to apply for registration and the choice-filling process.

MCC NEET UG 2024: How To Check Seat Matrix

Step 1. Go to the MCC official website, mcc.nic.in.

Step 2. From the current events section, check for the latest notification.

Step 3. Now click on the link “NRI List Of Eligible Candidates For Ug (Round 1) 2024-25” or “Final Seat Matrix For Deemed Round 1 UG 2024 (MBBS)”.

Step 4. The final seat matrix PDF will be shown on your screen.

Step 5. Check your Serial Number and Name from the list.

Step 6. Down the Final Seat Matrix PDF for your future reference.

The diversity and international reach of NEET UG applicants are displayed by 1,037 candidates who converted from Indian to NRI status. When reporting to the college to which the students have been assigned a seat, and if they have been granted a seat under the NRI quota, must present original documentation showing their NRI status. If they fail to provide these documents, their admission may be cancelled.

MCC NEET UG Counselling 2024 Schedule

According to the official website, the Round 1 registration period began on August 14 and will end on August 21. The Choice Filling and Locking facility was open on August 16, and it will stay operational until August 20. The dates of the seat allocation processing are August 21 to 22. On August 23, the round 1 seat allotment results will be made public. The required reporting and joining period for candidates will be from August 24 to 29. On August 30 to 31, candidates who join after the initial allotment can complete their verification process.

The registration period for Round 2 is scheduled for September 4 to 5. On September 11 and 12, the seat allotment and verification process will take place. Those candidates who are given seats are required to report by September 14 to 20.

This year, approximately 1.10 lakh MBBS seats in about 710 medical colleges across the nation will be allocated through the counselling process. A total of 21,000 BDS seats along with Ayush and nursing seats will undergo counselling. Counselling for the 15% All-India Quota seats, 100% of seats at AIIMS, JIPMER Pondicherry, 100% of central universities and 100% of deemed universities will be conducted by the MCC.
