The registration process for NMIMS Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2024 is currently underway at the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS). Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply through the official website at nimcet.in. The deadline to apply for the CET phase 2 is May 20, 2024. The 4-year BTech course batch will commence in July.
NMIMS NCET 2024: Eligibility criteria
Only candidates who have recently passed their Class 12th exams from a recognised board and have scored a minimum of 45 per cent in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and optional subjects are eligible to apply for the exam. Additionally, candidates who passed out in either 2023 or 2024 are eligible to apply. However, candidates above the age of 25 are not eligible to apply for the exam.
NMIMS NCET 2024: How to apply
Step 1: Visit the official website at nimcet.in.
Step 2: Tap on the “NCET 2024 Apply Now ” option.
Step 3: Get yourself registered on the portal.
Step 4: Log in by using the registration ID and passwords.
Step 5: Fill out the NCET 2024 application form and enter all the details that are required.
Step 6: Upload all the required documents and pay the application fees.
Step 7: Tap on the submit option.
Step 8: Download and print out the NCET 2024 application form for the reference.
NMIMS NCET 2024: Exam Pattern
The exam will be conducted in a computer-based mode. There will be a total of 120 questions and the paper will be divided into 5 sections- Physics, Chemistry, Biology, logical intelligence, and verbal reasoning. The candidates will get 1 mark each for the correct answer and there will be no negative marking for the incorrect answers. The total exam duration will be 2 hours.
The candidates will be provided the option to choose the test city while filling out the application form. If there are multiple or duplicate submissions of the exam form then the application form will not be considered and the registration fee will not be returned. Candidates should be aware that the application fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
