The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced an extension of the online application deadline for recruitment to multiple posts as part of Phase 12 Recruitment 2024. According to the notification, interested candidates can now apply for the SSC Phase 12 recruitment 2024 vacancies via the official website, ssc.gov.in, with the new deadline set for March 26.
The application correction window is scheduled to open on March 30. During this period, candidates will have the opportunity to make necessary edits to their details on the application form. The application correction facility will be accessible until April 1.
As per the official notification, “A Corrigendum dated 18.3.2024 has been issued making some changes against certain posts advertised in Phase-XII/2024/Selection Posts. Therefore, the candidates of Phase-XII/2024/Selection Posts Examination are hereby informed that the Commission has decided to extend the last date for submission of online application, strictly as a one time measure, for the aforesaid Examination.”
SC Phase 12 Registration 2024: Updated Schedule
–– Last date and time for submitting online applications: March 26, 2024 (until 11 pm)
–– Deadline for online fee payment: March 27, 2024 (until 11 pm)
–– Application Form Correction window, including online payment: March 30, 2024 to April 1, 2024 (until 11 pm)
Notably, all other provisions and conditions outlined in the Notice of Phase-XII/2024/Selection Posts will remain unchanged. The SSC Phase 12 recruitment exam is tentatively set to take place from May 6 to 8. This recruitment exam will be conducted online through a computer-based test mode.
Steps to apply for SSC Phase 12 Recruitment:
Step 1: Go to the official website of the SSC at ssc.gov.in.
Step 2: Find and click on the link titled, “SSC Phase 12 Recruitment 2024” on the homepage.
Step 3: Now, click on either “Apply Online” or “Registration.”
Step 4: Complete the registration process by providing necessary details. Upon completion, you will receive a registration ID and password.
Step 5: Log in to the application portal using the provided credentials.
Step 6: Fill out the application form with accurate information.
Step 7: Submit the application and proceed to pay the fees.
Step 8: Download and print the confirmation page for future reference.
The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 2,049 vacancies across various departments. Reserved category candidates will receive relaxations in the upper age limit as per government norms.
