Parineeti Chopra married the man of her dreams, Raghav Chadha in an intimate wedding ceremony surrounded by loved ones. A dreamy setting against the picturesque backdrop of the city of lakes, Udaipur, Parineeti celebrated all the festivities leading up to the wedding in true blue Parineeti style.
Championing her love for comfort through her bridal looks were celebrity fashion stylists Nidhi Agarwal and Shraddha Lakhani of Two Fold. From the pre-wedding festivities including the Ardas, games night, Sufi night to the mehendi, haldi, chooda ceremony, sangeet and wedding, the Nidhi and Shraddha celebrated Parineeti’s effortless and minimal style quotient with panache.
In an exclusive conversation with News18, Nidhi Agarwal spoke about the experience she and Shraddha had planning and executing the bridal looks, Parineeti the bride-chilla and how styling her in the wedding lehenga will always be special to them.
You have styled Parineeti Chopra on various occasions, how different was it styling her for her wedding?
The wedding was a different experience altogether. When we work together for brand shoots/ events the brief is very different. This was more personalised and there were a lot of emotions attached to every look of hers. There was so much more attention to detail and on how we could personalise a few elements for her main look.

Tell us about what Parineeti Chopra wanted for her wedding in terms of style?
Parineeti was very clear about how she wanted to be extremely comfortable for all the functions. She didn’t want any of her looks to be OTT [Over The Top] and just wanted to keep them easy breezy. In fact, she told us she will absolutely not wear heels for any of her functions.
Bridezilla or Bridechilla? How was Parineeti Chopra as bride?
Parineeti was a Bride-chilla! She was so calm and composed throughout our extensive fittings and at her functions.

How long did it take you to style her wedding look? And which bridal look of Parineeti’s was your favourite?
We spent about two months to prep and finish all our trials. I absolutely cannot pick between all the looks we did on her. It’ll be like picking your favourite child.
How would you define Parineeti’s style quotient?
Effortless and minimal. Over a period of time, we realised how beautifully she pulls off minimal and monotone looks.
A styling moment during the wedding that will always be special to you.
It would definitely be dressing her in her wedding lehenga. We had discussed so many minor details over the past few months that it was absolutely surreal to finally see it coming together.
What's your reaction?
