Milan will send director Umberto Gandini to Los Angeles on Wednesday.

New Delhi: The Rossoneri have had enough of beating around the bush and they mean business.

Milan will send director Umberto Gandini to Los Angeles on Wednesday and his American mission will be to close a deal for David Beckham.

Gandini and two of the Italian club's lawyers will fly out to the States after Thursday's UEFA Cup clash against Werder Bremen in order to convince the Los Angeles Galaxy to part company with the Englishman.

The Sun claims vice-president Adriano Galliani has instructed his men to get their brief cases and bring him back some good news on Friday.

According to reports, the Rossoneri's entourage will sit down and hold crucial talks with the MLS side and they will try to swing the deal in their favour.

So far any attempt from Milan has been swatted away by the Americans, who are playing hardball. Galaxy are not satisfied with the offers they have received so far and they are holding out for more money.

Beckham has always stated his desire to stay in Milan despite Galaxy coach Bruce Arena still hopeful of his return.

The Italians are still confident of reaching an agreement with the American side in order to avoid further complications before the March 9 deadline.

Meanwhile, Beckham may feature for his side on Wednesday night as he is in the squad to play Werder, despite picking up a minor knock during Sunday's 2-1 derby defeat to Inter.
