London: Arsenal's home game against Wolverhampton Wanderers has been postponed from Monday to Tuesday because of a planned strike by public transport workers.

Arsenal were set to host Wolves as part of the Premier League's traditional Boxing Day fixtures, but the game will now start at 3 PM on Tuesday, which is also a public holiday in Britain.

The planned strike would shut down parts of the London Underground as well as train services into London, which Arsenal said "would have caused severe disruption" for fans trying to get to Emirates Stadium.
