Manchester: Former Manchester United hero David Beckham says he is in no rush to decide his future, but admits that the possibility of a move to Paris Saint-Germain interests him.

The big-spending French side are understood to be keen to snap the iconic midfielder up when his LA Galaxy contract expires at the end of the MLS season in November.

"We'll see. I've always said I'll wait till the end of the season and see how I feel physically and then decide. There's no rush for myself," Beckham told the Daily Mail.

"I love Leonardo. He's a great manager, a great person," he said of the PSG sporting director, who was at AC Milan during Beckham's time on loan at San Siro in recent years.

"I think there are big things happening in France at a number of clubs. It's an exciting time. Leonardo going to PSG, and the money that's at the club. It's an interesting club.

"Obviously it's important that I concentrate on the rest of the season. We're in the playoffs and we've got two games left. I'll concentrate on the season and then worry about that after."

Beckham also revealed that he hopes defender Rio Ferdinand decides against a move to the MLS at the end of his current contract.

The England central defender's deal expires at the end of next season, and Chicago Fire have confirmed that they are interested in the 32-year-old.

"It's unfair for me to even comment on a player that's under contract at Manchester United, loved by the fans," the ex-Real Madrid man continued.

"He's a very good player.

"That's the first time I've heard those rumours but I'm not even going to comment because he's a Manchester United player and as a former Manchester United player I want him to stay there."

The 36-year-old also praised Sir Alex Ferguson's rejuvenation of the Old Trafford side this season.

"Sir Alex Ferguson always does it," said Beckham.

"As soon as you think that the team are getting a little bit older, he changes it and he brings a whole new team through.

"As a Manchester United fan it's exciting to see; the young players that are coming through, the players that have been there for a few years. It's great.

"There's many players who have impressed me; [Danny] Welbeck is scoring goals, Chicharito is so sharp. It's exciting to watch players like that.

"I hope they go and win it all."
