Gerrard says he could be forced to play for a different team next season if the club doesn't offer him a new contract when his current deal expires in May.
Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard says he could be forced to play for a different team next season if the club doesn't offer him a new contract when his current deal expires in May.
Speaking to The Daily Mail in England, Gerrard says "I will play beyond this season" and that "we will have to wait and see if that's at Liverpool or somewhere else."
Gerrard, who has only played for Liverpool throughout his career since making his debut in 1998, added that it is "Liverpoool's decision" if he remains at Anfield but if they do not want him, then he "will see what's out there."
