London: Cote d'Ivoire's defensive midfielder Yaya Toure has indicated he will stay with Manchester City as he intends to win "everything" with the new Premier League champions.
"On a personal level, I'm very happy because I want to win many more trophies with City and the manager [Roberto Mancini] has the same mentality as I do - he wants to win everything with this club and so do I," said the 29-year-old Toure on the club's website.
Mancini renewed a five-year contract with Man City on Tuesday following a successful season which saw them edge out city arch rivals Manchester United to claim their first Premier League title, Xinhua reported.
"It is important for this club to have stability at all levels," said Toure who played an important role in the team's last season.
"It means there will be no changes or disruption to what has proved a winning formula and, for the long term, that can only be good for Manchester City," Toure added.
