She shared a power-packed video of her leg workout session led by her trainer, Sohrab Khushrushahi. In the video, Alia shows the weighted hip thrust or weighted hip bridge exercise. She can be seen seated on the floor with knees bent and feet slightly wider than hip-width apart. Her upper back rests on the edge of a weight bench, while she holds a barbell loaded with 20 kg weights on each side across her hips. Squeezing her glutes, she presses the barbell straight up until her hips align with her shoulders and knees. She completed four repetitions of the exercise with focus.

Hip thrusts are a crucial part of leg workouts at the gym. They specifically target the gluteal muscles more effectively than many other lower-body exercises. By engaging the hamstrings and glutes, hip thrusts improve hip extension significantly.

This is not the first time Alia has given a sneak peek of her dynamic workout routine. In this video, she can be seen performing a deadlift. She stands with her feet hip-width apart and her toes under the middle of the barbell. Keeping her back straight, she bends at the hips and knees to lift the barbell, which has 10 kg weights on each side.

Apart from weight training, Alia also loves a good Pilates session. A few days ago, celebrity trainer Yasmin Karachiwala shared a picture of Alia at her gym. The actress was spotted sitting on a cycling machine with her back facing the camera. She was wearing a t-shirt with the text “Pilates has your back” written on it. Her hair was tied in a neat bun and she fully focused on her workout.
