Discussions surrounding the absence of the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton from public appearances refuse to slow down. The British royal family member was last seen on Christmas 2023. Reports claimed that she was recovering from a “planned abdominal surgery” in January. Amid the rising concerns about Kate Middleton’s long-drawn disappearance, a UK-based media outlet reported that the Princess was recently spotted at her favourite farm shop looking “happy, relaxed and healthy”.
However, the speculations were far from over as social media users were not convinced that it was Kate Middleton in the video footage. Now, television host Andy Cohen has also shared a similar view. Andy Cohen dropped a blunt statement on X (formerly Twitter), agreeing with the internet population that the person shown in the video was not Kate Middleton. “That ain’t Kate,” he wrote. His post soon drew plenty of reactions from X-users and received over 1.1 million views on the micro-blogging platform.
That ain’t Kate….— Andy Cohen (@Andy) March 19, 2024
Taking an indirect dig at the British royal family, one individual criticised, “I don’t understand why they keep lying.” ‘I just want to know who they think they’re fooling,” agreed another sarcastically. Lauding Andy Cohen for putting forward his honest opinion, a third user wrote, “OMG Andy. I absolutely love that you commented about this.” Calling the whole Kate Middleton disappearance an “epic PR stunt” a person pointed out, “I have said from day one she should have done a small video explaining things and then she could have disappeared.”

On March 16, The Sun reported that Kate Middleton and Prince Willaim went for a farm outing, located one mile away from Kate’s Adelaide Cottage home in Windsor. A witness at the shop claimed, “After all the rumours that had been going around I was stunned to see them there.”
Earlier, the official X-handle of The Prince and Princess of Wales dropped a heavily photoshopped picture of Kate Middleton on the platform featuring her three kids — Prince George, Louis and Princess Charlotte. When the doctored image received flak from online users, Kate apologised for the editing error. Reportedly, Kate would resume her royal duties from April 17.
