Disabling Caller ID
Open your iPhone’s Settings iPhone Settings App Icon. You’ll usually find it on the home screen or in the app drawer. Use this method if you want to make all of your outbound calls private. If you only want to place one private call, see Using a Blocking Code.
Scroll down and tap Phone. It’s in the 5th group of settings.
Tap Show My Caller ID. It’s at the bottom of the ″CALLS″ section.
Slide the switch to the Off iPhone Switch Off Icon position. Now that you’ve disabled caller ID, the people you call will not see your phone number on their phones.
Using a Blocking Code
Open the Phone app. It’s the green icon with a white phone receiver inside. You’ll usually find it at the bottom of the home screen. Use this method if you only want to make your phone number private for one phone call (instead of disabling caller ID completely).
Tap Keypad. It’s the next-to-last icon at the bottom.
Dial *67 followed by the phone number you want to call. The ″*67″ code makes your phone number private when placing an outbound call.
Tap the call button. It’s the green circle with a white phone receiver at the bottom of the screen. This places your call without displaying your phone number on the recipient’s screen.
