Click "My Books" at the top of Goodreads.
You'll see the My Books in the menu bar that runs along the top of the page. This displays your library.
Click "Import and export."
The Import and export tab is on the left side of the page. You'll see it under the "Tools" heading.
Click "Export Library."
You'll see the Export Library button at the top of the page. Once you click the button, you'll see a message that says "We are currently generating your export." For large accounts with hundreds to thousands of books, this may take several minutes, but for those that have fewer (about 50-75 shelved books), this should take just a few seconds.
Click the link to download your exported library.
Once the export is generated, you'll see a link that says "Your export from" followed by the date. Click the link to download a CSV file that contains your entire library. If the download doesn't start automatically, click Save or Download to start it now.
View your shelved books.
Double-click the downloaded file to see your library. Once the download is complete, you can open your exported library in any program that supports CSV files, including Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, or Numbers for macOS. The sheet contains titles, authors, Goodreads book ID, ISBN, publisher, publication year, your ratings, average ratings, and much more.
