How to Repost Videos
Open the TikTok app. This looks like a music note with a black background. Log in if you haven't already.
Navigate to a video you want to repost. You can browse your For You page, or use the search bar to find a specific creator or tag.
Tap the "Share" icon. This looks like a right-facing arrow on the right side of the screen. A pop-up menu will open.
Tap Repost. This will be the yellow button at the top-left corner of the pop-up menu. You can find this button underneath Send to. When you tap the post, you'll see You reposted above the creator's name. Videos you repost will be visible to your followers. To undo a repost, tap the Share button on the video again and tap Remove repost.
What are reposts on TikTok?
Reposting lets you post another user's video onto your profile. This works similarly to X's Retweet feature. The reposted videos will be shared to your followers along with an optional comment. This is different from Stitches, which can be used to combine an existing video with a new video you’re making, and Duets, which shows a video side-by-side with your added content.
Can you see who reposted your TikTok?
Currently, you cannot see who reposted your own TikTok. You may visit a user's profile individually to check their reposted content, but there is no way to check through your own video. Similarly, you won't be able to see who viewed a reposted video.
