2G: Outlook exposes 800 more Nira Radia tapes
Among the people named in the fresh set of tapes are Tarun Das, ex-head, CII and a female Tamil Nadu politician.

New Delhi: Even as the controversy over corporate lobbyist Nira Radia's conversations with leading journalists Vir Sanghvi and Barkha Dutt rages across the country, newsmagazine Outlook, in its latest issue, has released 800 more tapes of her tapped conversation with various politicians, journalists and businessmen.

Among the prominent people the fresh set of Radia tapes might implicate are Tarun Das, former head of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and an unidentified female Tamil Nadu politician.

The tapes can be accessed at the following URL of Outlook's website: http://www.outlookindia.com/article.aspx?268618.

The first batch of 140 Radia tapes which came out three weeks ago resulted in the resignation of former telecom minister A Raja, and triggered a major political crisis that has stalled the Parliament proceedings over a JPC probe into the 2G spectrum scam.

The earlier tapes also named Tata Group chairman Ratan Tata, who is currently involved in a bitter war of words with Rajya Sabha MP and former telecom entrepreneur Rajeev Chandrasekhar.
