HYDERABAD: Burglars decamped with 30 tola gold ornaments from the house of an NRI in Champapet on Monday. Police suspect the role of some persons known to the family behind the incident as door locks were intact.The burglary took place in the house of Dubaibased engineer, Ashok Goud who resides at Pavanpuri Colony in Champapet. Ashok came to the city four days back and on Monday morning he went to Chilkur Balaji temple along with his son and two grandchildren. The family returned home around 3 p.m. They did not notice the theft till they entered the bedroom as the main door was locked."The doors of the main door as well as iron safe in the bedroom were not opened forcibly. They might have been opened with duplicate keys," Saroornagar police said.Police suspect persons known to the family might be involved in the burglary. Fingerprints were collected from the house for verification.
