A truck carrying 25 people, mostly labourers, got stuck on a road in the low lying area of Gehlot ghat near Banas river in Tonk district, Additional SP Vineet Kumar said.
Four persons managed to escape before the district administration's rescue team arrived on the spot and saved others, he said.
Eleven people on-board a tractor-trolley stranded in a swampy area at Tonk-Malpura road were also safely rescued, he said.
Incessant rains affected traffic at Tonk-Malpura state highway as vehicles remained stranded at several places, he said, adding that traffic was diverted through an alternative route.
