55-year-old man, his son shot dead over property dispute

A 55-year-old man and his son were allegedly shot dead on Friday by their neighbour over a property dispute in Achalpur locality of the district, police said.

Satyadev Singh and his son Vikas (17) were shot dead by their neighbour identified as Santosh with whom they had a property dispute, SP Deepak Kumar said.

Two other members of the family were also injured in the incident and were admitted to hospital, he said adding, their condition was stated to be critical.

The bereaved family has alleged the involvement of five persons in this connection, however, no official complaint has been lodged, said police.
