Three occupants of the car -- identified as Aditya Bhandarkar, Yash Shirali and Abhishek -- died on the spot, whereas three others succumbed to their injuries at a hospital, a duty officer at Kamshet police station said.
Pune: Six college students were killed when the car they were travelling in rammed into another vehicle and turned turtle on the Mumbai-Pune expressway on early Tuesday morning.
The car was heading towards Pune when its driver lost control over the wheels at around 3 AM under Kamshet police station limit, leading to the mishap, they said.
Three occupants of the car -- identified as Aditya Bhandarkar, Yash Shirali and Abhishek -- died on the spot, whereas three others succumbed to their injuries at a hospital, a duty officer at Kamshet police station said.
The victims, in the age group of 20-22 years, and were from the Sinhgad College of Engineering, Pune.
