HYDERABAD: The state government has estimated that crop in 16 lakh hectares has been damaged and horticulture crops in another 10,000 hectares was damaged in the drought-hit 456 mandals in the state.The crop loss would be more as enumeration is still being done in these districts which will go on till November 15. However, the state government will send an interim report to the Central government within a week and a comprehensive detailed report in the first week of December. Speaking to reporters after holding a review meeting with the officials at the Secretariat here on Wednesday, revenue minister N Raghuveera Reddy said that another 93 mandals would be declared drought-hit in the next two to three days. They include Warangal (34), Adilabad (18) and Karminagar (5) in Telangana region and 36 mandals in Chittoor district of Rayalaseema.
